Set along the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway, this campground is directly across from the Clearwater River and the Heart of the Monster. You’ll find plenty of recreation in the Kamiah Valley, from tubing down the Clearwater River to exploring the area’s renowned fishing spots. The Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition traveled through this region—homeland of the Nez Perce—and it’s still a delight to explore.
