The Big Horn County Historical Museum is Montana’s largest historical museum, located just off I-90 Exit 497 one mile east of Hardin, MT, only 12 miles from the famous Battle of the Little Bighorn and is home of the Will James Studio. 24 significant historic buildings and 5 exhibit buildings contain a growing collection of antiques, farm equipment, horse drawn wagons and antique vehicles. The main building features a large gallery, gift shop, library, program/educational room, offices and the State of Montana Visitor Center.
