Ste. Genevieve Muny Band Concerts
For over 70 summers, Ste. Genevieve’s Municipal Band has performed a variety of favorites from polkas to marches, show tunes to kids’ tunes, popular melodies to old favorites. You are sure to tap your toe to the beat. An average of 70 musicians from high schoolers to retirees strike up the band each week on Thursdays 8:00-9:00pm in June and July (except July 4th week). Sit in your car or bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy one of the few municipal bands still around, a Ste. Genevieve tradition! Held in the Valle Catholic Schools parking lot.
Music loving people in Ste. Genevieve are very fortunate to be able to enjoy their Muny Band. There are only four such bands remaining in Missouri. The good ole summertime would not be the same without their melodic notes. Indeed, the Muny Band is perhaps the only drive-in concert around!
