Perry County Military History Museum opened on Veteran’s Day in 2012. The museum’s mission is to honor and recognize Perry County Veterans. The museum has been described as a “hidden gem in Southeast Missouri.” Tour Welcomed.

Perry County Military History Museum’s mission is to create a museum as a means of paying tribute to those who serve or have served in the United States military.

It’s goals include:

1. Create a permanent museum to support the vision and mission of the organization

2. Educate the public, involve the community and inspire our youth about military service of individual Perry County residents and all veterans

3. Preserve, display and explain artifacts that serve to acknowledge the service of individuals
