The Yakama Nation Cultural Center is a well rounded facility offering a variety of exhibits and programs designed to educate the average visitor on the rich history and culture of the Yakama people. The museum, a 12,0000 square foot exhibition hall, holds archaeological, ethnographical, photographic, art, media, and paper collections as well as exhibits that depicts the dwellings of the Plateau People, Unique dioramas that tell the story of the Yakama people, and more. In addition to the museum, the facility displays an iconic Yakama Nation building, the heritage theater, where you can see a whole number of showings and also can be rented out for plays, graduations, birthday parties, and etc. You can also visit the Yakama Nation library, whose purpose is to provide Plateau cultural and mainstream American, educational-contemporary popular materials for its patrons.
