Built in 1869, the ten-room Gothic style Wildwood House brings to life the Victorian era in Nebraska. The house reflects the faded elegance of the lifestyle of Jasper & Ellen Ware and their family who lived here “amidst the wild wood” in western Nebraska City. Guests to Wildwood house are offered a unique glimpse into everyday life in a “well-to-do” home. The Gift Shop sells works consigned by local and regional artists.
