Wellsburg, West Virginia is a small town located on the eastern border of WV neighboring Pennslyvania, next to the Ohio River. The town is home to roughly 2,805 citizens and dates back to September 1, 1870. While the town is small, there is so much to see and do. There are multiple museums in the area: The National American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor Museum and Research Center which is home to the largest number of artifacts related to the fall of Bataan and Corregidor. There is also the Brooke County Historical Museum and Culture Center which aims at preserving the history of the county through artifacts.

The area is home to lovely bed and breakfast, like the Barn With Inn, which is located on a quaint farm with fresh food, animals roaming the land, and a pool. There is also the Bayberry House Bed and Breakfast, a historic quaint bed and breakfast located in town.

The town has many restaurants to offer, but a few in specific stand out. The Crooked Dock is a local favorite that is located right on the water. Offering great views, reasonable prices, and feel-good food, this is a great place to bring everyone! Drovers Inn & Tavern is another example of a historic place that offers a higher-end yet affordable meal, located in a beautiful historic building with three different eating areas.
