The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Visitor Center in Omaha, Nebraska commemorates the journey of both captain Meriwether Lewis and captain William Clark took along the middle of the Missouri River. Here, visitors can learn about their adventurous expedition into the unknown, the places they camped, the animals they hunted and documented, the people that they explored with, and the natives that they met along the way.  You will learn all of this while exploring through the beautiful garden that the center has to offer, which is accompanied by informative panels describing the entirety of Lewis and Clark’s journey.

There, you can talk with the lcoal rangers who can provide you with a treasure trove of information about the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail as well as an Omaha area orientation, so you can explore even more during your trip here.
