Big Muddy Adventures offers guided canoe trips along the great rivers of the Midwest – the Illinois, the Mississippi, and the Missouri. BMA’s wide variety of trips are designed for all adventure levels, including trips in eight-person canoes, Big River canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and even old-fashioned dugout canoes that give you authentic glimpse into travel during the historic days of the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Our flagship vessel is a 30-foot wooden voyageur canoe that is nearly identical to the voyageur canoes of the fur-trading era. Full-moon canoe trips, classic river day trips and many more are available you and your group.
