The Stone Hill Winery is a unique location in Hermann, Missouri with breathtaking history and incredible wine offerings. Having stood in Hermann for over 150 years, it has a history of excellence and innovation. After its inception in 1856, Stone Hill rose to become the second largest vineyard in the United States. It was immensely successful until the prohibition began in the United States.

However, it was bought in the 1950s by Jim and Betty Held- returning it to its former glory. Visitors can tour the land to view the historic wine cellars, the breathtaking views from the house, and experience what made this venue so successful. We welcome weddings, large events, and meetings for all. It is the perfect venue to engage history, relax, and explore. Wine tastings are included in all tours and all visitors are encouraged to dine in our vintage restaurant.

The Stone Hill Winery offers visitors a unique chance to connect with the history of Hermann while also enjoying award-winning wines! Whether visiting for a tour, party, or wedding it will be an amazing experience that one won’t forget. The tastes, views, and history do an excellent job in connecting us to the wonders of the past.
