A bread bakery and cafe in the heart of one of St. Louis’s historical neighborhoods, Union Loafers bakes natural bread made with Old World techniques.  This innovative bakery is open Tuesday through Saturday, serving lunch, pizza, and bread.  At lunchtime, the cafe serves sandwiches, soups, and salads, while the space is transformed into a pizzeria for dinner.  Try the “Light and Mild” loaf (French country sourdough) or order a “Bianca Stick” which is perfect for sandwiches.  For lunch, order a sandwich served on fresh baked bread.  At dinner, try their famous crust, complemented by the fan-favorite buttermilk dressing.  Vegetarian and vegan options are available for both lunch and dinner.  With food that is “uncommonly good for the common good,” Union Loafers serves critically-acclaimed breads and creates a community hub in St. Louis.
