Visitors to the Georgetown, Ohio area can enjoy the special opportunity to learn more about President
Ulysses S. Grant’s early life by taking a visit to the U.S Grant’s Boyhood Home where he lived until he
attended West Point. Marked as a national historic landmark, there are plenty of exhibits and
opportunities to view memorabilia and opportunities to read about the renovations of the building.
Admission for adults is $5 and for youth $3. The outside features 19th century additions and
reconstructions while the interior has original flooring and woodwork. It is open Wednesday through
Saturday from 12pm-5pm with admission from May 1st- October 31st. There are also guided tours
available and admission also includes an opportunity to visit his schoolhouse.
