Drs. Joseph and Omayma Touma donated the Touma Museum of Medicine to Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. It is a medical history museum located in the centre of downtown Huntington, West Virginia. More than 2,800 medical items are displayed in over a dozen separate galleries in this 4,000-square-foot museum. The exhibition contains more than 2,800 historical medical artifacts within nearly a dozen fascinating galleries. It covers categories such as cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, pharmacy, dentistry and general medicine.
