Committed to culture and community for over a century, the Muny is the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre. The Municipal Theatre Association of St. Louis is located in the center of Forest Park. Every summer, the Muny produces seven Broadway-style musicals. Past shows include Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Chicago and many more. Additionally, every evening at the Muny features a preshow festival, with free performances and activities. When the Muny isn’t performing, it focuses on their training program which produces the next generation of performers, producers, and creators.
