With over 3,000 square feet of exploration space, lined with miles of trails, a discovery center, and engaging exhibits, the Runge Nature Center is the perfect place for outdoor adventure and learning in Jefferson City.  The center was designed to provide visitors the opportunity to view, learn about, and appreciate the variety of habitats in Missouri.  After hiking in the park’s woodlands, prairies, and glades, visit the nature exhibits which include live animals and the large fish aquarium.  Don’t miss the Discovery Center which also features a wildlife viewing area.  For a sprawling view of the capital city, climb the 60-foot fire tower.  Learn more about Missouri’s biodiversity and capture breathtaking panoramas, all at Runge Nature Center.
