With vibrant and diverse performances, incorporating music, opera, theater, and dance, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts highlights both local and international artists in a state-of-the-art venue.  Featuring two performance spaces, the 1,800-seat Muriel Kauffman Theatre and the 1,600-seat Helzberg Hall, the Kauffman Center is home to the Kansas City Ballet, Lyric Opera, and Kansas City Symphony, while also hosting musicals, international orchestras, and much more.  The Kauffman Center also actively engages with its goal of enriching the lives of Kansas City residents by providing affordable student programming and reducing the costs of transportation.  Through its engaging programming and dedication to nurturing artists, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts brings international art to Kansas City and helps Kansas City create international art.
