As the oldest historic district in West Virginia, the Julia-Ann Square District is one of the most
culturally significant spaces in West Virginia. Today, there are now free copies of a walking tour guide
to understand and explore the historic neighborhood. During Christmas, there is a special Victorian
Christmas home tour where visitors are able to purchase tickets online and receive a tour, cookies, and
cocoa at the First United Methodist Church. The houses featured are Queen Ann styles and date from
1850-1910. The self guided tour includes stops to traditional course houses. Hotels, the Blennerhassett
