This 138-acre park is perfect for travelers looking to spend some time outdoors and campers looking for a picturesque and functional setting to spend the night.  This park features RV campsites with electrical connections and a tent camping area in addition to full-service bathrooms and showers, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and an 18-hole disc golf course.  There is also a boat ramp, providing access to the Missouri River for small boats, canoes, and kayaks.  Additionally, walking paths and historical/interpretive panels provide a history of the region. Other fun activities include a reservable amphitheater, poetry boxes, and a sand volleyball court.  Camping reservations are highly recommended for weekends and holidays.  Don’t forget to check the park’s events calendar (viewable at the Bismarck Parks and Recreation Department Website) for free events, which have included yoga in the park, trick or treat in July, a lighted evening walk with smores, and a movie in the park at the amphitheater.
