There is no place where the arts, theater flourish more in the West Virginia area more than the
Clay Center. The Clay Center located in Charleston, West Virginia constantly features performers
from West Virginia natives to music legends. They additionally host special camps cultivating art
education amongst youth. Special performances include renditions of the musical: Pretty Woman, A
Night at the Opera, and Jazz Series. Additionally, there is the Caperton Planetarium which features
special out-of-this world displays of our solar system! There are special discounts for field trip groups as
well to the museum. The Clay Center is open from Mondays through Saturdays from 9:30am – 5pm
