As one of the premier nonprofits celebrating the history of the Civil War veterans, the Civil War
Veterans Museum is a must visit in the Nebraska City area. The museum is open from April through
October on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 4pm. As one of just four
remaining army halls in the United States, the Hall is an important place of remembrance and
community for members of the Nebraska City area. The museum features a lego scavenger hunt for
children to play with as well as displays of rearms, uniforms, and currency from the era. The ceiling
and infrastructure of the very building has been restored to the original 19th century form. For more
