Carl’s Drive In
Celebrating more than sixty-five years, Carl’s Drive In is a St. Louis classic. The menu reflects this long history, with crispy hamburgers, freshly-fried onion rings, and award-winning chili that emblemize Carl’s classic roots. Carl’s has been consistently rated as having the best cheeseburger and the best chili in Missouri by local newspapers, in addition to being recognized by national outlets. This restaurant is cash only, with an ATM available onsite. Founded in 1959 by a 25-year old Carl Meyer and his wife Pat, Carl’s Drive In continues to attract locals and visitors with its retro ambiance and famous root beer.
