Interested in experiencing an out-of-this-world sight? Lucky enough for many visitors, the Allegheny Observatory is an accessible observatory that offers views of outer space. Thursday night tours of the observatory will be held from April through August and Friday night tours will be held from April through October.  All tours begin at 8 p.m. and last until approximately 10 p.m. Tours of the observatory are free of charge. Additionally, every third Friday of the month, there is a public lecture available for viewing at the observatory. The lecture begins at 7:30 each night. Field trip opportunities are also available!
