West Virginia State Farm Museum

At the West Virginia State Farm Museum north of Point Pleasant, several historic buildings have been relocated to provide the visitor access to log cabins, an early farmhouse, an operational 19th century blacksmith shop, turn-of-the-century doctor’s and newspaper offices, and the first Lutheran Church west of the Allegheny Mountains.

A work in progress, the Museum attractions change from year-to-year, and the collection of artifacts continues. Group tours can be arranged, and events such as family reunions, weddings, and parties can be scheduled.

Included is a wildlife museum, picnic area, taxidermy museum, sawmill, loom house, and tractor collection. And no visit would be complete without a stop to our country store, which features food products, crafts, and collectibles.
