The Cheyenne Tribe’s rich history intertwines with the Lewis and Clark travels, with Lewis and Clark
meeting with the Cheyenne on their trip up the Missouri River in 1804. The Expedition also saw an
abandoned Cheyenne village which was left due to their fighting with the Sioux Tribes. Much of the
history is passed down through the works of art that are created and the traditions of beadwork.
Located along Highway 212, this gift shop is on the way and easy to visit! Making your way up to the
Sturgis Sturgis motorcycle rally, or maybe on your way to see the historic battle site of Little BigHorn this
