Explore the Midwest in one of the most unique river boat tours offered in this river town. While based in Madison, Indiana, visitors can tour two rivers (Kentucky and Ohio) through three different tours to pick from. Whether you’re a lover of history, wildlife, the natural beauty in the scenery or a combination of all three, your captain is committed to providing you a memorable, one of a kind experience. Be prepared for multiple stops as your guides fill you in on the wonders of this lovely river town while setting you up for awesome photo ops.

Scenic Ohio River Boat Cruise – Take a scenic 2 hour cruise to travel 40 miles of the Ohio River. The pitch? See the Ohio River where it cannot be seen from a road. Your Captain and crew will point out historic locations, share river stories and help you spot wildlife like bald eagles, osprey, deer, and more.

Midweek Lunch Excursion – If you’re interested in a more in-depth experience, this five-hour choice offers the same scenic river cruise but will lead you further down into the histories of the town. A mix of the old and new come together as the cruise takes you under the newly built Lewis and Clark Bridge. Your cruise may start in Madison, Indiana but will end in Louisville, Kentucky for a great riverside lunch.

2 Day Kentucky River Boat Cruise – Depart from Madison and head up the Ohio River to Carrollton, Kentucky. Then travel up the Kentucky River through remote and scenic canyons to discover deep forests, historic locks and dams built in 1838. Take advantage of the stop in Frankfort, Kentucky to tour the Buffalo Trace Bourbon Distillery. See the historic district, maybe listen to music in the park or visit unique shops. After a night’s rest at the Capital Plaza Hotel, your captain will lead you back down the river through the locks, dams, forests, and canyons till’ you’re back onto the Ohio River and back in Madison.
