Rock Creek Area
Located in the beautiful mountain forest inside the Lolo National Forest, Rock Creek offers travelers the perfect combination of nature, solitude, and amenities. With 52 miles of Clark Fork River running through the area, and being a prime location to find the Blue Trout stream, fly fishing here is a must, and a true Montana activity to partake in during the summer months. The area offers much in the way of hiking, picnic tables, river access, backpacking trips, dispersed camping sites, two log cabins, and campgrounds. Parts of the Rock Creek area are additionally open year round, providing scenic places for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and making this beautiful area a wonderful stop on your journey.
