Nimrod Warm Springs
One of Montana’s best kept secrets is the sheer number of hot springs located right outside of Missoula, and this one is especially special! Located right alongside I-90, Nimrod Warm Springs is an undeveloped warm spring that stays at around 70 degrees Fahrenheit year round, making it an ideal spring and summer destination (although perhaps a little chilly in the winter). To access the spring, head West on I-90, and look for the waterfall around the Bearmouth exit. The water is crystal clear, offering the opportunity to snorkel if you’re up for it, and the beautiful surrounding landscape provides visitors of all ages a great backdrop for a picnic. For the most adventurous, there is also a little cave you can swim up and into, a fun and unique experience.
