The Meskwaki people invite you to experience an event that is truly distinctive about the Meskwaki way of life. The Meskwaki Annual Powwow is the only one of its kind in Iowa. Beginning on Thursday, the four-day festival and celebration occurs the 2nd full weekend of August each year. It’s time of laughter, dancing, singing, remembering and reconnecting with friends, family and visitors each year.
