Get to know this 9.4-mile out-and-back trail near Yankton, South Dakota. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 55 min to complete. This is a popular trail for camping, fishing, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This paved, mostly flat, trail parallels the Missouri River. There are campgrounds along the way and several opportunities for other recreation including fishing!
