At Leavenworth Roadside Park, you will find a CCC-era shelter, small playground, and a view of the big bend of the Ohio River at Leavenworth, Indiana. It’s a great place for a picnic while traveling along the Ohio River Scenic Byway. Open 8am to 8pm.
Meriwether Lewis and his boats passed around this bend in late October 1803, and the view from Leavenworth will be a highlight for anyone traveling the Lewis and Trail on the Ohio River Scenic Byway.
