Also known as Central Park, Gene Leahy Mall covers 9.6 acres near the riverfront in downtown Omaha.  Surrounded by some of the city’s tallest buildings, the Mall brings a green space to the heart of the city.  With a performance pavilion, the Mall hosts fun events like dance classes and movie nights.  The Mall also includes options for family fun, namely a state-of-the-art playground, interactive water features, and a sculpture garden.  Bring pets to explore the Mall, including its sizable dog park.  After visiting the Mall, head east to enjoy the other parks that make up Omaha’s Riverfront complex, including Lewis and Clark Landing.  Entry to this recently-renovated park is free.
