Sandy Wounded Arrow, historic site manager of the Fort Robinson History Center, will present the history of the wives who accompanied the U.S. Army to Fort Robinson, Neb. Often coming from upper-class families and well-educated backgrounds, these women faced a tough transition, leaving the comforts of civilization as they knew it for life on the frontier.
