Within three decades after the Lewis and Clark expedition, missionaries entered the Pacific Northwest to interact with American Natives. Robert Heacock, a historian, will give a presentation, “Early Missionaries in the Pacific Northwest,” that covers the history and influence of the Blackrobes, Methodists, and Whitmans in the region.
