Celebrate “The Gathering at Tmsmli” at Travelers’ Rest

“The Gathering at Tmsmli” will bring together 300 elementary school students on May 2 to learn about the Séliš-Qlispé culture and other tribal organizations. On May 3, there will be more of a festival feel with vendors, food trucks, and even an Indigenous DJ spinning records. Admission is free.

Indigenous people have gathered for thousands of years in this place the Séliš call Tmsmɫl̓. The area is also an important part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition story.
