The Smithsonian is coming back to Kentucky! Americans, the newest Museum on Main Street exhibit, will open in at the River Discovery Center in Paducah on Saturday, August 23rd. This exhibit will tour seven communities across the state until July 2026:

Americans highlights the ways in which American Indians have been part of the nation’s identity since before the country began. It delves into the stories of Thanksgiving, the Battle of Little Big Horn, and the life of Pocahontas; surrounds visitors with images; and invites them to begin a conversation around it all.
